Good news for Noida Residents, Noida authority has given permission for the construction of a Habitat centre in sector-94. The habitat centre will be built on the same lines of Delhi’s India Habitat centre and the work will be started in a month. The announcement has been done recently in a meeting took place between Gautam Buddh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh, Noida Authority officials and representatives of all RWAs.
According to authority officials, this centre will become the face of Noida. This is a dream project of Mahesh Sharma and he is one who took initiative to construct this centre in Noida. Now we are looking out for the land so that the work can start soon.
Alok Tandon CEO, Noida Authority said, “The convention centre will be built on 25 acres of land and will include hotels, commercial spaces, retail centres and service apartments. As this project is a mix-land use project, the authority will sell these spaces to prospective buyers so that we can generate money for the construction too. We will soon issue a notification in this regard.”
The habitat centre will be designed by a globally renowned architectural firm and will be equipped with all the world-class facilities. Tandon further said that the budget for the project will be decided in a week which will be followed by tender notification.
For public programmes, an auditorium will also be built in the center with a seating capacity of 500 to 5000 guests. It will also have an open air theater which will in future become a hub of art and culture related programmes.
