The RWA i.e. resident welfare association of the modern housing complex has planned to charge membership fee from NABARD [National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development] as the bank own flats here.
The RWA and MHC [Modern Housing Complex] took this decision in their annual general body meet that held in December 2018.
They both have approached Nabard for the same as the bank own 70 residential units in the complex. The RWA of the modern housing complex said that the residents of these flats will get right to vote in the association elections only if NABARD will pay a lifetime membership fee of these flats.
Col Gursewak Singh, president, resident welfare association and modern housing complex informed that NABARD has to pay Rs. 1,000 to the association.
This decision is taken by the RWA as both the Haryana tourism and the PGI also owns apartments here and the RWA-MHC want that the residents of these flats should also take active participation in the activities of the society. The Haryana tourism offers these flats to their employees.
The RWA also decided that similar to lifetime membership fee charge on NABARD, the Haryana tourism and PGI will also be asked to pay the charge for owning flats in the modern housing complex [MHC].
All three bodies including NABARD, Haryana tourism and PGI purchased flats in the modern housing complex at the time of construction and these units are used to accommodate their employees. The Haryana tourism owns nearly 25 flats and the PGI have bought 15 flats here.
The decision to charge lifetime membership fee has been sent to the registrar of the society for the final sanction.
