Kandivali railway station is one of the busy station on the Western Line of the Mumbai suburban railway. Poisar Bus Depot, the oldest BEST bus depot is located in this area. Road connectivity is provided by means of Western urban road on the east, S.V. Road and Link Road on the west.
Once operations two metro lines will also pass through this region one will pass through Link Road on the western part and another will connect the main arterial Western Urban road on the eastern side of the neighbourhood.

Because of high residential demand, the area is developing at a fast pace with many developers coming into the region. Especially for the middle class, this area is much affordable that other areas of Mumbai. 1BHK and 2BHK apartments area easily available in the suburb at affordable rates. Central Government’s PMAY scheme has helped many to buy residential property here at good prices and lower interest rates.
