In regard with the Lokayukta order, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation [JMC)] attached two properties in the Moti Doongri zone.

The other two properties were seized for unauthorized construction in Malviya Nagar after the civic body received separate and multiple complaints.

Also, a rooftop restaurant was operational in the Moti Doongri area and they also constructed the fifth without seeking permission from the civic body.

Earlier, the Lokayukta directed the Jaipur Municipal Corporation nearly a year back and the former deputy commissioner of the area gave directives to seize the building at that time.

Manish Fuajdar, DC, Moti Doongri zone, said that earlier we were not able to get ample enforcement and finally the same was arranged earlier this week and thus we seized a restaurant and one more building. The owners of a rooftop restaurant constructed the fifth floor without the permission of the civic body and thus the action was due to be enacted.

The other two buildings didn’t follow the order to bring hold to the illegal construction in Malviya Nagar at plot 41 and 42. Both these structures were also seized in 2017 but the continuous violation of rules forced the Jaipur Municipal Corporation to take action again.
