Haryana RERA Chief Dr. K K Khandelwal said that Government must work toward digitization of property record as it will bring more transparency in the secondary real estate market. He also said that digitization of property records is cost efficient as will minimize the legal cost and the entire procedure will boost the buyers’ confidence. Khandelwal was speaking at a FICCI conference held in New Delhi a few days back.
There should be an online database of all realtors across the country as it will make the property market more organized, regulate and transparent while improving the functionality of the realtors, Haryana RERA chief said. The report of a recent survey was also shared in the conference and which showcased several figures related to the secondary real state sector.
Earlier, the Khattar-led Haryana Govt announced to build the low-budget residential project under the PMAY Affordable housing scheme in Panchkula. Also, the HHB [Haryana Housing Board] has plans to construct three housing societies in Panchkula’s Sector 31 area.
According to the sources, all these three housing projects are planned to have 711 residential units in total and the Government will invest Rs.125 Crores to build all these housing units. Also, it is planned to complete the construction of these projects by the year 2022, which is also the target set by the Central Government to offer homes under the PMAY [Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna].
The officials of Haryana Housing Board have already visited the proposed site and the land is fit for the construction of all proposed housing projects.
