Good news for NCR homebuyers! Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has announced a new housing scheme where they will allot around 1200 ready-to-move-in flats at two locations from October 10. The multi-storey apartments will be located in Sector 12 and Omicron 1 of Greater Noida.

As per the new scheme, Greater Noida Authority will allot 1, 246 housing units in various configurations i.e. 1-BHK, 2-BHK and 3-BHK flats with modern amenities. The information about the scheme will be made available on the GNIDA website from October 10, which is also the start of the Festive season.

Giving more information about the scheme, Sachin Kumar, officer on special duty (OSD), GNIDA, said, “The homebuyers can visit the GNIDA website from Wednesday for the possession of these flats. We will analyse the applications and allot the homes to suitable buyers after payment,”

He further said that interested homebuyers would be able to download the brochure and see the allotment process, eligibility criteria and other details of the scheme. The allottees will have to pay the total premium after adjusting the 10% registration amount within 90 days from the date of allotment.

Another authority official further elaborated that all these apartments are surrounded by greenery and are located near educational institutions and Pari Chowk. The apartments enjoy seamless connectivity to Delhi and NCR. Also, the metro station will be operational soon which will further provide last mile connectivity. The proposed Jewar airport will be located at a distance of 20 kilometers from the apartments.

A total of 987 flats are developed in Sector Omicron 1 by GNIDA, while the rest are located in Sector 12. The price of the flats starts from Rs 28 lakh and goes till 74 lakh based on the space and amenities.

Experts suggest that from October 10, the auspicious festival of Navratri is starting, followed by Dusherra, Durga Puja and Diwali and many homebuyers make real estate investment during this time. So, in a way, it is a good move by the authority which will further give a boost to the real estate industry of NCR.

A few months back, UP CM had directed authority officials to ensure the delivery of the 50,000 houses in Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway within a few months.
