NCR’s popular region Ghaziabad will soon see inauguration of some major infrastructure projects that will not only boost the region’s economy but will also add feathers to the real estate market of various localities. As per the city’s administration, a total of 14 projects worth Rs 32,000 crore are in line to be unveiled. Out of this, some of them will be inaugurated while other foundation stone will be laid.
Giving details on the above projects, a senior official said, “The eight projects which will be inaugurated include Rs 1781.21 crore Dilshad Garden-New Bus Adda Metro line corridors, Rs 60 crore Civil Terminal at Hindon IAF Base, and two model inter colleges for boys and girls in Mustafabad and Loni each worth Rs 302 crore. The overall cost of these projects is Rs. 1957.16 crore.”
He further informed that other projects which are also fully developed and are in line of inauguration includes 180 residential units under Aasra Housing Scheme in Nandgram with a cost of Rs 9.89 crore, Rs 29.92 crore water pipeline and 32.10 crore sewer line under AMRUT scheme in Ghaziabad, and another sewer line in Loni under same scheme worth Rs 38.89 crore.
Projects whose foundation stone has to be laid include Rs 30274 crore Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor and 60 crore Integrated Traffic Management System in Ghaziabad. Apart from this, there are several other important projects included in the list. The cost of these developments is worth Rs 30556.99 crore. The work on Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor has already kicked-off and tenders have also been issued.
The state government is working hard to develop Ghaziabad as a smart city which will further propel the realty market in areas adjacent to metro and RRTS corridor.
